"When I found out I had scoliosis in 2022, I was confused because I didn't know what it would mean for me. I was pursuing a lot of hobbies at the time, including dance, and I wasn't sure if that meant I had to quit altogether."

What was the biggest challenge?- "The summer heat. I get really hot under my brace but I push through and keep wearing it."

"Scoliosis affected almost every part of my life. My back hurt, my clothes didn't fit properly, I had to stop swimming, and playing violin became very painful. My teachers didn't realize I wasn't doing my best because I was anxious and going through a difficult time."
